Good God what a disgrace. After being a fan of 40 some years, I shouldn't be suprised anymore.I did get to go to the game against St. Louis where they won the division and I had a great time celebrating, but when I sobered up I began to have questions if this team would make it. Too many times The Cubs would seem to get into a funk where they could not score runs. Winning 97 games is wonderful but it don't mean jack at the end of the day if you fall short of your goal.
